దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా రిపబ్లిక్ వేడుకలు ఘనంగా జరుగుతున్నాయి. 71వ గణతంత్ర దినోత్సవం పురస్కరించుకొని దేశ ప్రజలకు ప్రధాని మోదీ శుభాకాంక్షలు తెలిపారు. ఢిల్లీలోని ఇండియా గేట్‌ సమీపంలోని జాతీయ యుద్ధవీరుల స్మారకాన్ని సందర్శించి నివాళి అర్పించారు. ప్రధని మోదీకి కేంద్ర రక్షణ శాఖ మంత్రి రాజ్‌నాథ్ సింగ్ స్వాగతం పలికారు. త్రివిధ దళాల నుంచి ప్రధాని మోదీ గౌరవ వందనం స్వీకరించారు. ఇక ఢిల్లీలోని రాజ్‌పథ్‌లో రాష్ట్రపతి రామ్‌నాథ్ కోవింద్ త్రివర్ణ పతాకాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించారు. 71వ రిపబ్లిక్ డే ముఖ్య అతిథిగా బ్రెజిల్ అధ్యక్షుడు జైర్ బోల్సోనారో పాల్గొన్నారు. రిపబ్లిక్ పరేడ్‌లో ఆర్మీ శక్తిసామర్థ్యాల ప్రదర్శన, భిన్న సంస్కృతులు, సామాజిక, ఆర్థిక పురోగతికి సంబంధించిన ప్రదర్శనలు చూపరులను ఆకట్టుకుంటున్నాయి. కాగా తొలిసారిగా యాంటీ శాటిలైట్ మిసైల్ (ఏశాట్)ను రిపబ్లిక్ వేడుకల్లో ప్రదర్శించింది. ఇక ప్రత్యేక సైనిక దళాలు, డాగ్ స్క్వాడ్, సాహస బాలలు, పలు రాష్ట్రాలకు చెందిన కళా బృందాలు ఈ పరేడ్ కు హాజరైన ప్రజలను కనువిందు చేశాయి.
