Aman Khan

Chennai Super Kings
All Rounder
Right Handed & Right-arm medium 29 yrs.

Aman Hakim Khan, born on November 23, 1996, in Mumbai, is a versatile right-handed all-rounder recognized for his explosive lower-order hitting and right-arm medium pace. He emerged from the competitive Mumbai domestic circuit, making his List A debut in March 2021 during the Vijay Hazare Trophy and following it with a T20 debut later that year in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. His raw power and ability to finish games quickly caught the attention of scouts, leading to his first professional breakthrough in 2022 when he was signed by the Kolkata Knight Riders.

In November 2022, Aman's career took a significant turn when he was traded to the Delhi Capitals in exchange for Shardul Thakur. During the 2023 IPL season, he played 11 matches and recorded his maiden IPL half-century, a gritty 51 off 44 balls against Gujarat Titans that demonstrated his potential to perform under pressure. Seeking more consistent opportunities in senior domestic cricket, he shifted from Mumbai to represent Puducherry starting in the 2024-25 season. He quickly rose to leadership, captaining the Puducherry side and delivering a career-best bowling performance of 6/30 in List A cricket against Arunachal Pradesh in December 2024.

The 2025-26 domestic season proved to be a period of both significant challenges and new opportunities for the all-rounder. In December 2025, while leading Puducherry against Jharkhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Aman entered the record books for an unfortunate milestone, conceding 123 runs in 10 overs, the most expensive bowling spell in men's List A history.

Despite this setback, his high-velocity intent and multi-dimensional utility remained highly valued by major franchises. During the IPL 2026 auction held in Abu Dhabi, the Chennai Super Kings secured his services for 40 lakh to bolster their domestic core and middle-order depth.
