Tejasvi Singh
A fearless six-hitter with a flair for dramatic cameos, Tejasvi Singh Dahiya has quickly risen through Delhi's cricketing ranks with his explosive batting and sharp wicketkeeping. A self-confessed fan of Virender Sehwag, Dahiya models his game on aggressive strokeplay and has earned attention for his ability to turn matches with rapid-fire innings.
Dahiya represents Delhi in Indian domestic cricket as a right-handed wicketkeeper-batter. He made an immediate impact in the 2024 Vijay Hazare Trophy, smashing 114 off 78 balls on his List A debut against Tripura, becoming one of the rare players to score a century in their first match in the format. His T20 debut followed in the 2025 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Delhi. Before breaking into the senior circuit, he gained attention in age-group cricket with back-to-back centuries in the Cooch Behar Trophy, which boosted his confidence after a challenging start in the Delhi age-group system.
Dahiya's biggest breakthrough came in the Delhi Premier League (DPL) playing for South Delhi Superstarz. In the 2025 season he blasted 339 runs in 10 innings at a strike rate above 190, finishing as the tournament's second highest six-hitter with 29 sixes. One of his most memorable knocks came in a rain-shortened chase where he smashed 69 off 21 balls, including the fastest half-century in DPL history (12 balls). His power-hitting displays caught the attention of IPL scouts and led to a bidding war before Kolkata Knight Riders signed him for ₹3 crore in the 2026 IPL auction, marking a major milestone in his career.
