Mystery spinners have increasingly become valuable assets in the T20 era, and Daksh Kamra is one of the latest young talents attempting to make a mark with his deceptive craft. Hailing from Hisar in Haryana, Kamra is a right-arm mystery spinner known for his quick googlies, often delivered at speeds touching around 95–97 km/h, along with sliders and other subtle variations that make him difficult for batters to pick. His unorthodox style and ability to rush batters with pace off the pitch have drawn comparisons with Varun Chakravarthy, another mystery spinner who has thrived in the format.

Kamra's rise through the ranks came via age-group and domestic cricket in Haryana, where his performances as a spin-bowling all-rounder began attracting attention. His potential as a T20 prospect was recognised at the IPL level when Kolkata Knight Riders picked him up for ₹30 lakh at the 2026 IPL auction, adding another mystery spinner to their ranks.
