Anukul Roy
Born on 30th November 1998 in Seraikela Kharsawan in Jharkhand, Anukul Roy is a left-arm spin bowling all-rounder. He began his professional career for Jharkhand by playing age-group cricket. His impressive showing at that level earned him a spot in the 2018 Men's Under-19 World Cup. Anukul finished as the tournament's joint-highest wicket-taker in India's title-winning campaign.
A few days later, he made his List A debut for Jharkhand in the 2017–18 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Anukul Roy is a proper left-arm spinner, knowing how to use his variations to his advantage. Roy is a useful option lower down the order with the bat and is agile across the field, and these three-dimensional skills make him a valuable asset.
He was picked up by the Kolkata franchise for the 2022 Indian Premier League and despite playing in just two games, was retained for the following season and still continue to play for them. With age on his side and ample talent at his disposal, he could still make a mark for himself on the bigger stage but more importantly will have an opportunity to hone his skills with some of the best players in the world.
