... DAY 2, SESSION 3 ...
For Pakistan it was Sajid and Noman yet again as they got 8 between them but Pakistan won't be very pleased with the effort with the ball. They know they face a stiff task on a challenging wicket. They'll need to bat really well if they are going to have a chance. West Indies will hope they can repeat their bowling effort from the first innings. Stay tuned for the chase.
Kraigg Brathwaite led the way with a fifty but there were handy contributions from others too! The key for them was they had small decent partnerships which has helped them take their lead to over 250. They batted with intent and it paid off. West Indies will feel they're ahead in the game at the moment.
A fine batting effort from the Windies! It is their best effort of the series and it has come at a very good time! Pakistan will need over 250 and by how we have seen the wicket behave, this is not going to be easy.

Commentary
All set for action. The Pakistani players are out in the middle. Mikyle Louis and Kraigg Brathwaite to open for West Indies. Sajid Khan has the new cherry in hand.
20 wickets on Day 1 has started this match at a rapid pace. Once again all the batters struggled but it was the Windies tail that made a massive impact to take them from 54/8 to 163. The last three batters played brilliantly to frustrate the hosts bowlers who bowled well with Noman Ali taking a hat trick and ending with a six fer. The trio then with the ball took all 10 wickets to take a lead of 9 runs. West Indies once again will be tested with the bat. The top order needs to step up this time. Can they though? Pakistan will be disappointed! They batted really poorly. A few of their batters got off to starts but none went on to make it into a decent score. They kept losing wickets and have ended up conceding a lead. However, they would know they would be eager to bowl the visitors out quite cheaply and would back themselves to do it on this wicket. Roach was brilliant with the new ball and then it was all about Gudakesh Motie and Jomel Warrican. They two picked seven between them and have helped the visitors gain a small lead.
What a fine day of cricket! West Indies have fought back brilliantly! First it was the last wicket stand for them. They were reeling at 95 for 9 but the last wicket added more than 50 and gave their bowlers something to bowl at and they responded brilliantly.

...SECOND INNINGS...
The wicket taken by Kashif Ali was the first wicket taken by a Pakistani seamer after 60 consecutive wickets picked by spinners in Pakistan. Close to four tests if we can remember. The debutant Ali got the wicket of Mikyle Louis and it started the domino effect. Shan Masood quickly turned to his spinners and they as usual meant business. Noman Ali became the first Pakistani spinner to take a hat trick in Test cricket. He ended up taking a five fer and making things more worse for West Indies. However, the tail played brilliantly to end a bit on high and balanced out the session. Pakistan are still ahead but they have to bat cleverly on a turning pitch. Stay tuned.
LUNCH! So, what was turning out to be a magical session for Pakistan ended up being a frustrating one! They had to toil hard for the last three wickets which added 109 runs to the total. West Indies were supposed to get rattled over below 100 as the script said but Gudakesh Motie, Kemar Roach and Jomel Warrican had other ideas. They batted and batted to get the team total above 150 and frustrate the home team. However, it was a dismaying performance from their top order who got spun into the web of Noman and Sajid.

That is all from this series. Shan Masood and Kraigg Brathwaite share the trophy as the series ends in a draw. Both games ended quickly but it was quite entertaining to see. Not much for the home team but they will take a draw off this series after Masood's start to his captaincy career. Hope you enjoyed the coverage. In reply, Pakistan had no answers to the spin attack yet again. They needed someone to play a big innings but that didn’t come. A couple of their batters got off to starts but could not kick on. Pakistan will be quite disappointed with their effort in this game. West Indies on the other hand, will be very proud of the performance they have put up.
Their spinners though rose to the occasion and helped West Indies gain a very small lead and then it was their batters who finally came to the fore. They put in their best performance of the series at a crucial time and it was Kraigg Brathwaite who led the way with a fine half ton. He helped his side set a target of over 250 which was going to be a really tough ask on this wicket.
Except for the first session of Day 1, the other sessions belonged to the visitors. They were reeling at 9 down for less than a 100 but Warrican and Motie batted brilliantly and took them above 150 which we still didn’t feel was enough. Kemar Roach played a big part too with the bat. We feel it was at that point where West Indies showed a lot of fight and turned the game at that very moment. Noman Ali though became the first spinner to take a hat trick in Tests for Pakistan. His six fer helped his team to keep West Indies near 160.
For the Pakistan batters, it was just a test to forget, we expected them to show some fight on Day 3 but they have surrendered. They entered the day with six wickets in hand and it has taken the Windies around 20 overs to get those wickets. Quite an embarrassing loss in the end. The home team have failed in crunch situations to play the spin and they'll be aware of the fact that they have to improve a lot and not depend on one player or so.
West Indies win a Test match in Pakistan after 34 long years. What a fine win for the visitors and they have managed to level the series! Yet again it was their spinners this morning. The likes of Kevin Sinclair and Jomel Warrican spun a web. The two took 8 wickets between them with Warrican recording a fifer.

... DAY 2, SESSION 3 ...
For Pakistan it was Sajid and Noman yet again as they got 8 between them but Pakistan won't be very pleased with the effort with the ball. They know they face a stiff task on a challenging wicket. They'll need to bat really well if they are going to have a chance. West Indies will hope they can repeat their bowling effort from the first innings. Stay tuned for the chase.
Kraigg Brathwaite led the way with a fifty but there were handy contributions from others too! The key for them was they had small decent partnerships which has helped them take their lead to over 250. They batted with intent and it paid off. West Indies will feel they're ahead in the game at the moment.

Kraigg Brathwaite came with intent and scored boundaries against all three spinners and made them vulnerable. Shan Masood shuffled his bowlers but stuck to Noman Ali from one end who scalped four wickets eventually. Sajid Khan troubled Kraigg Brathwaite twice, getting his LBW out in consecutive deliveries only to be overturned. His fifty have given West Indies a good platform. 20 wickets on Day 1 has started this match at a rapid pace. Once again all the batters struggled but it was the Windies tail that made a massive impact to take them from 54/8 to 163. The last three batters played brilliantly to frustrate the hosts bowlers who bowled well with Noman Ali taking a hat trick and ending with a six fer. The trio then with the ball took all 10 wickets to take a lead of 9 runs. West Indies once again will be tested with the bat. The top order needs to step up this time. Can they though? Back after Lunch break! Muhammad Hurraira and Shan Masood to open for Pakistan.
...SECOND INNINGS...
The wicket taken by Kashif Ali was the first wicket taken by a Pakistani seamer after 60 consecutive wickets picked by spinners in Pakistan. Close to four tests if we can remember. The debutant Ali got the wicket of Mikyle Louis and it started the domino effect. Shan Masood quickly turned to his spinners and they as usual meant business. Noman Ali became the first Pakistani spinner to take a hat trick in Test cricket. He ended up taking a five fer and making things more worse for West Indies. However, the tail played brilliantly to end a bit on high and balanced out the session. Pakistan are still ahead but they have to bat cleverly on a turning pitch. Stay tuned.
LUNCH! So, what was turning out to be a magical session for Pakistan ended up being a frustrating one! They had to toil hard for the last three wickets which added 109 runs to the total. West Indies were supposed to get rattled over below 100 as the script said but Gudakesh Motie, Kemar Roach and Jomel Warrican had other ideas. They batted and batted to get the team total above 150 and frustrate the home team. However, it was a dismaying performance from their top order who got spun into the web of Noman and Sajid.

That is all from this series. Shan Masood and Kraigg Brathwaite share the trophy as the series ends in a draw. Both games ended quickly but it was quite entertaining to see. Not much for the home team but they will take a draw off this series after Masood's start to his captaincy career. Hope you enjoyed the coverage. In reply, Pakistan had no answers to the spin attack yet again. They needed someone to play a big innings but that didn’t come. A couple of their batters got off to starts but could not kick on. Pakistan will be quite disappointed with their effort in this game. West Indies on the other hand, will be very proud of the performance they have put up.
Their spinners though rose to the occasion and helped West Indies gain a very small lead and then it was their batters who finally came to the fore. They put in their best performance of the series at a crucial time and it was Kraigg Brathwaite who led the way with a fine half ton. He helped his side set a target of over 250 which was going to be a really tough ask on this wicket.
Except for the first session of Day 1, the other sessions belonged to the visitors. They were reeling at 9 down for less than a 100 but Warrican and Motie batted brilliantly and took them above 150 which we still didn’t feel was enough. Kemar Roach played a big part too with the bat. We feel it was at that point where West Indies showed a lot of fight and turned the game at that very moment. Noman Ali though became the first spinner to take a hat trick in Tests for Pakistan. His six fer helped his team to keep West Indies near 160.
For the Pakistan batters, it was just a test to forget, we expected them to show some fight on Day 3 but they have surrendered. They entered the day with six wickets in hand and it has taken the Windies around 20 overs to get those wickets. Quite an embarrassing loss in the end. The home team have failed in crunch situations to play the spin and they'll be aware of the fact that they have to improve a lot and not depend on one player or so.
West Indies win a Test match in Pakistan after 34 long years. What a fine win for the visitors and they have managed to level the series! Yet again it was their spinners this morning. The likes of Kevin Sinclair and Jomel Warrican spun a web. The two took 8 wickets between them with Warrican recording a fifer.
