Muneeba Ali

Wicket Keeper
Left Handed & -

Muneeba Ali Siddiqi is a trailblazing figure in Pakistani women's cricket, widely celebrated as an elegant left-handed opening batter and a highly dependable wicketkeeper. Born and brought up in Karachi, she represents a modern breed of aggressive top-order anchors. She made her international debut in the T20I format in 2016 against the West Indies, followed by her ODI debut in 2018. Over the years, her sharp reflexes behind the stumps and tactical mindset at the crease have solidified her status as a vital component of Pakistan's leadership group and senior core.

A defining moment in Muneeba’s career came during the 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup, where she etched her name into the record books by smashing a magnificent 102 against Ireland. The monumental knock made her the first Pakistani woman to score a T20I century. She replicated her penchant for century-making on the international stage by hammering another brilliant T20I hundred off 68 deliveries during Pakistan's tour of Ireland in August 2025. Her ability to anchor long innings while maintaining a healthy strike rate has consistently provided the Pakistan women's national cricket team with stable foundations across major global events, including the 2024 T20 World Cup and the 2025 ICC Women's Cricket World Cup.

Domestically, Muneeba has proven to be an exceptional captain and a prolific run-scorer. Leading the Invincible Women in the 2026 National Women's T20 Tournament, she marshalled her side brilliantly to multiple victories. A standout captain's knock in April 2026 saw her smash an unbeaten 79 off just 50 balls against the Challengers, securing a thrilling four-wicket win. She finished the domestic campaign in blistering form, amassing 344 runs across 9 innings and reinforcing her status as one of the most reliable batters in the country.

Muneeba seamlessly transitioned her rich domestic form into international cricket during Zimbabwe's tour of Pakistan in May 2026, and her consistency and experience earned her a place in yet another ICC Women's T20 World Cup squad.
