Grace Harris

All Rounder
Right Handed & Off break

Grace Harris is a powerful and entertaining presence in Australian cricket. Born in Queensland she is an all-rounder known for her incredibly strong right-handed batting and handy off-break bowling. With a natural ability to clear the boundary ropes she has built a reputation as one of the most explosive strikers of the cricket ball in the world. Her journey is a story of immense talent overcoming setbacks and forcing her way back to the top
through sheer determination and spectacular performances.

She burst onto the international scene in 2015 when she made her T20 and ODI debuts for Australia. During the very first season of the WBBL later that year she grabbed the attention of the entire cricket world by smashing 103 runs off just 55 balls for the Brisbane Heat. This incredible knock was the first ever century in the history of the league. Despite this brilliant start she faced challenges with form and fitness which led to a long absence from the national team. Instead of giving up she went back to domestic cricket and worked incredibly hard to refine her game and improve her consistency.

Her patience and hard work paid off in a massive way when she earned a brilliant recall to the Australian squad in 2022. She brought a new level of maturity and confidence to the crease while keeping her trademark aggressive style. She became a vital part of the dominant team that won the gold medal at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham and was also part of the squad that triumphed at the 2022 ODI World Cup. The following year she added another major trophy to her cabinet by helping Australia win the 2023 T20 World Cup in South Africa. Her ability to finish an innings with massive sixes made her a fan favorite across the globe.

Harris also became a huge star in global franchise cricket. During the first two seasons of the WPL she became a crowd favorite while playing for the UP Warriorz where she won matches with her brutal hitting. She proved that no run chase was impossible when she was at the
crease. She also showcased her power in The Hundred playing for the London Spirit. Her unique personality humor and relaxed approach to the game made her just as popular off the field as she is on it.

In recent times during 2025 and 2026 Harris has reached new heights. She was bought by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for the 2026 WPL season and had an unforgettable campaign. She equaled the league record for the most expensive over by smashing 32 runs and played a blazing knock of 85 off 40 balls to help guide her team to the title. Although an injury hampered her WBBL campaign in late 2025 she bounced back strongly to score a brilliant century for the Queensland Fire in the WNCL. Now fully fit she has been named in the Australian squad for the upcoming 2026 T20 World Cup where she is ready to bring her
trademark power to the global stage once again.
