Bharti Fulmali

Batsman
Right Handed & Right-arm medium fast

Born in Amravati, Maharashtra, Bharti Shrikrushna Fulmali is a right-handed batter and right-arm medium-fast bowler who has emerged as a powerful finisher in domestic and franchise cricket.

At just 13 years old, Fulmali kicked off her professional career, leading to her senior debut at 17. The middle-order batter has played most of her domestic cricket with the Vidarbha Women’s cricket team, elevating the team’s performance across age groups.

Fulmali’s breakthrough came during the 2023-24 domestic season when she accumulated 255 runs from 9 Senior Women One Day matches with a highest score of 82, including four half-centuries at an average of 42.5 and a strike rate of 80. These stellar performances caught the attention of WPL franchises.

Fulmali earned her India call-up in February 2019 for the T20I series against England. She made her T20I debut at Guwahati, becoming India’s 63rd women’s T20I capper, though her international career has remained quite brief so far, she has been very active in the WPL circuit.

In March 2024, Fulmali was called up to the Gujarat Giants squad to replace the injured Harleen Deol. This opportunity proved to be her big break. She was able to solidify her middle order position and displayed glimpses of the power-hitting potential she had.

Fulmali took her game to another level in the 2025 season. She scored 133 runs in six innings at an outstanding average of over 66 and a mighty strike rate of 172.72. Her ability to hit the ball hard and create massive impact as a finisher became her calling card. Against Mumbai Indians in WPL 2025, after another batter was retired out to inject urgency into the innings, Fulmali walked in and transformed the tempo completely. She launched an aggressive counterattack alongside Georgia Wareham, remaining unbeaten on 36 from just 15 balls, striking three boundaries and three sixes in a cameo that lifted Gujarat's score massively. Against DC, She added 51 runs with Tanuja Kanwar, which became the highest seventh-wicket stand in WPL history.

As a finisher, Fulmali has developed the reputation and ability to hit the ball powerfully to all parts of the ground. She continues to make impact for the Gujarat Giants in the WPL, as the franchise has trusted her for the 2026 as well.
