Arundhati Reddy

Bowler
Right Handed & Right-arm medium fast

Arundhati Reddy is a dynamic Indian all-rounder known for her energetic presence on the field. Over the course of her domestic career, Reddy has represented multiple teams, beginning with Hyderabad before moving to Railways, a side renowned for its strong domestic structure, and later turning out for Kerala. After years of grinding in the domestic circuit, she broke into India’s T20I setup in 2018 and, nearly six years later, made her ODI debut. Her disciplined, hard-length bowling has made her a valuable asset in white-ball cricket, while her athletic fielding and useful lower-order batting add further balance to the side.

Reddy has also been a consistent performer in franchise cricket. She represented the Delhi Capitals in the Women’s Premier League across multiple seasons, playing a key role as the side reached the final in each of the first three editions from 2023. During the 2024 WPL, she was among DC’s more impressive bowling options, trusted in pressure situations for her control and execution. Ahead of the 2026 season, she moved franchises, being bought by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru for INR 75 lakh at the WPL 2026 auction held in November 2025.

In 2025, Reddy was named in India’s squad for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, a campaign that culminated in a historic ODI World Cup triumph for India against South Africa in the final. While she did not feature in the playing XI during the tournament itself, her role off the field was widely recognised by teammates and the media.
