Quepem is one of the Assembly constituencies of the South Goa district in Goa. The Quepem Assembly seat falls under the South Goa Lok Sabha constituency. It is the long-term seat of Bharatiya Janata Party’s Chandrakant Kavlekar. He is also the current Deputy Chief Minister of the state. He won the seat thrice from the Congress party’s ticket. The Quepem Assembly constituency is a general seat, i.e. it is not reserved for SCs or STs. The voting on this Assembly seat is scheduled for February 14, 2022.
