Fatorda is one of the Assembly constituencies of the South Goa district in Goa and also part of the South Goa Lok Sabha constituency. Vijai Sardesai is the sitting MLA from the Fatorda Assembly constituency. Sardesai has won it for three consecutive terms. This makes the contest interesting on this seat. BJP’s Damodar Gajanan Naik has been pitted against Sardesai this time. The Fatorda Assembly constituency is a general seat, i.e. it is not reserved for SCs or STs. The voting on this Assembly seat is scheduled for February 14, 2022.
